I handed out the free Metro newspaper to commuters at subway stations across Toronto during the winter and springs of 2016 and 2017. As part of my daily Dreary Diary project, I made comics about my paperboy experiences. These were collected in Searching for Paperman, a 60-page graphic novel from Vide Press. A campaign to get my comics in the Toronto Metro was featured in not one, but two episodes of the Imposter podcast, as well as the Radio Free Krypton podcast. While the comics didn't run in Toronto Metro, one of my Metro comics did appear in an April 2017 edition of the Dutch Metro. |
